      Seems like the level of loss is going to be higher given that Ukrainian army is far from best-equipped or best trained. And if simply breaching through a line of defence is going to deplete the army by at least half, then that doesn’t bode well. Western countries have sent all they had to Ukraine at this point, once this equipment is ground down, it can’t be easily replaced.

          It’s not, and plenty of western media has covered this extensively. Not only that, but it’s becoming increasingly unpopular politically to keep pouring money into Ukraine. US elections are coming up, and democrats aren’t going to want this debacle of a war hanging over them as they campaign. You’re free to believe whatever fantasies you like of course, but the reality is going to become clear very soon.
