The most annoying thing about being famous is having to tell everyone how famous you are.

I thought it was really really interesting and then she just kinda… poof…
Her struggling with being a gorn host wouldve been significantly more interesting and it wouldve made more sense while being sadder.
I haven’t been able to really care much about her content since her take on react videos. That video was so poorly researched and misinformed that it makes me suspicious of all of her other videos.
What about super twister?
There was an open source dating app for a bit. It still technically exists but theres no advertising for it and therefore nobody uses it so all of the accounts are dead including mine

Edit: apparently VPs only get protection for a limited time which is honestly stupid.

In a rare defense of the movie… It was originally intended to be a miniseries but it got cut down to a movie when Michelle Yeoh won her Oscar and quickly became the most in demand actress for everyone.
While I hated the movie and most aspects, it was very much a compromise on the original vision and was in no way what Paramount was intending to make. It’s hard to tell if it being a show would’ve fixed all the issues with the acting and characters being cringe af but at the very least it probably wouldn’t have had the same pacing issues and extremely rushed writing.
He is a right wing nut job. His opinion on anything holds little weight.

Maven (famous)@lemmy.zipto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What would happen if the eugenesists had their way?7·2 months agoYou claimed that they claim intelligence and morality were tethered somehow. I was wondering where that was said. I didn’t see that anywhere in the original message so I think I either misunderstood something or missed a different message.
I was wondering if you could show them saying that intelligence and morality were related to each other.
This isn’t an argument being made, I’m just curious where it was said as I can’t find it.
Maven (famous)@lemmy.zipto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What would happen if the eugenesists had their way?7·2 months agoSorry, I meant examples where they said that the two are linked. The example you gave was the opposite.
Apologies if I phrased it poorly.
Maven (famous)@lemmy.zipto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What would happen if the eugenesists had their way?10·2 months agoBut you’re the one that said they aren’t untethered. They didn’t mention anything about that…
Could you please share the quote where there was a contradiction? I’d be interested to see where they said that intelligence and morality are linked
Im not 100% sure if this is true but I’ve been told its due to steams email policy.
They’ll email everyone when a wishlist game goes on sale and they also email everyone when a game has a 15% or more sale. Doing a 15% sale on launch doubles the chance of people seeing the emails.
