  • If he does leave office, it’s possible many people will go after him if they can. I know the SCOTUS decided the president can do whatever he wants with legal impunity, but I am sure he can still be dragged into a lot of legal battles given the extravagant number and level of crimes he is committing on a weekly basis. Why put himself through that in his last few years when he can just stay on top and shit on everybody, enjoying himself with our suffering? This guy is all in, he has made a new playbook for the oligarchy, and he is never going back unless the rest of the oligarchs decide he is a liability. Even then, he wont give up easily. My guess is he will leave the White House in a coffin (either old age or hanged by a mob)

  • There is a basic assumption in most news articles, that most of voters are somehow misguided and that with the right information they will eventually change their minds. In the case of MAGA and adjacent Republicans, we are talking about people that have been bred by the system to respond to certain kind of messaging and little else. They are mentally handicapped by the system, they do not possess the tools to process what is happening and even their basic humanity has been sabotaged. The solution is not to convince them to change their vote, but to discourage them from taking any actions. This is what the system does with progressives, they discourage them and convince them that politics are useless. It’s time this is used against the lobotomized strongest minority.

  • The only explanation for this is that Trump basically milked Musk’s popularity with dumb people and kept him around until Musk was no longer useful. Musk on the other hand thought he was going to control Trump to be a shadow president on his crazy drug-induced power trip but got a reality check and now his ego is hurt and is making a fuss. I doubt this will gain any traction, to build a political party is extremely expensive, Reps and Dems have hundreds of rich people behind them for greasing the wheels, plus brand recognizability and organized people and community presence. The most we can tell from this is that billionaires still need a political front to push their agenda and see how many times can Musk fail without losing his fortune.
