If we are serious about UA regaining all territory, they must be allowed to expand the war into Russia. It’s the only way a state can be reached where “return to the status quo ante” is a gain for both sides.

In that sense, same as war. Putin’s not going to be hit; there’s no direct impact on him. But both cause economic and political pressures for him.

Are you alright? The problem with Putin and Russian army is that they’re committing war crimes, and you call for war crimes from a “civilized” side as well?

Yes, do it now or pay high cost later. Many Europeans will need to go into active service if this doesn’t stop soon. That’s not good.

There is another solution right now - give all the arms that Ukraine is requesting. Because they’ve been cherry-picking, postponing, and saying “this is too effective, you can’t have that” for ablong time.
And that’s a better solution than your “bomb the civilians”

True, so talk about those alternatives. Not about ruzzian propaganda on tiktok… Which is what MOST people are now talking about (even the tankies on lemmy)

I’m not using tiktok, I just read a comment about “let’s bomb civilians” and responded, because it’s inhumane, whatener position you take, group belong to, citizenship you have.

It’s not inhumane. Inhumane is shooting people that need food like in Gaza. Inhumane in abducting 20.000 children from Ukraine

Inhumane is NOT ACTING BEFORE Europe gets invaded

Tankie alert! Someone is trying to make RUZZIA look better as they are.

Yes, disrepair (and firing all staff)

            Yes, drone attacks

Yes, lower price on markets as their COST to extract and ship

Yes, RUZZIANS ARE FINALLY SABOTAGING THEIR CORRUPT GOVERNMENT TO MAKE THEM STOP THE WAR.

This is great news for the world! (except for India, they were profiting a LOT from reselling ruzzian oil)

Oof that’s not a great idea. Protecting sovereignty is a hard enough sell internationally. Selling an invasion isn’t something the international community is really showing an interest in right now.

I support striking Russian military targets. I don’t support a ground invasion. So if what your saying is true I agree.

I don’t support a ground invasion either, but then Russia went and invaded and here we are.

They ought to be driven back to Moscow and actually liberate some people living under a dictator.

I’d be happy with pushing the orcs a mile across their border with the threat to push them further if they don’t stop.

Ukraine is already doing that. Though in a small scale.

The issue is escalating where Russia feels the need to use nukes. That is a no win for everyone.

Yeah they won’t be using nukes regardless of how the west “escalates”. They can leave Ukraine and end this whenever they want.

I agree, putin is looking to glorify his accomplishments as “president”. I think the moment he wants to use nukes his ersatz administration will be forced to pull the plug. Hopefully he dies as humiliatingly as all fascists deserve to die.

I’m hoping his people pull the plug. I’m actually surprised they haven’t done it yet.

The average Russian doesn’t want nuclear war anymore than anyone else.

Historically the Russians have showed constraint with nuclear weapons. I hope that continues.

If the other option is just letting Russia run continuously unchecked across sovereign nations, then I guess we eat some nukes. However, Russia knows the first nuke they detonate means not even their liege, China, will defend them.
