After a week of heavy fighting, the real tests of Kyiv's counteroffensive lie ahead, with Ukrainian troops some distance from Russia's main defensive line and the bulk of forces prepared for the push still on standby.
“The bulk of the Ukrainian army still hasn’t engaged the Russian invaders in the south. 12 brigades, 3000 armored vehicles of all types and an undisclosed amount of troops waiting. The largest military operation of the European continent since 1945.”
If that was remotely true, we would have seen more than the recirculated videoed and images we’ve seen so far. Even the “trophy” video was shot at the place the vehicles got knocked out, I.e a highly contested area.
you say these losses, while the same time you throw around with “significant numbers” being confirmed on telegram. While I’m sure the UAF has had losses, the numbers you are throwing around is on par with Russia claiming it destroyed all 44+ HIMARS launchers. You need to back your claims more than just “trust me, bro!”
Of nine vehicles attached to the group’s mechanised infantry unit – not the only one involved in the battle – six were wrecked, three damaged but reparable, and one was unscathed.
So that would be the same images that’s been doing the rounds over the last week, but its far from your initial claim that
They lost a significant percentage of their western gear and thousands of people in this attempt so far.
Stop trying to make it out to be more than it is. They lost 6 vehicles pushing through a minefield, I cant say if that’s good or bad, but we know from video’s taken from the actual point of view that the crew of the damaged Bradley’s survived and was evacuated. We also know some of them are being repaired

That’s just one example, once you learn how google works you can see plenty of other similar stories in western media. Every time Ukraine does a push they lose multiple tanks and IFVs, this is documented. This has been going on for over two weeks now. Anybody capable of doing basic math can figure out that these numbers are in fact significant. Ukraine only got 60 or 80 leopoards, if they already lost 10% of that before even getting to the first line of defence that’s obviously not going well. The fact that you keep pretending this isn’t significant is pretty amazing to be honest.
There’s an idea that this phase is an attempt to get Russia to commit their reserves then to attack at the weakest point. I hope that it is true.

This information isn’t exactly hard to find, so not sure why you’re acting like I’m saying something outlandish here.
