Iran has been attacking Israel by funding terrorist groups (Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthis, etc) since the Islamic revolution in Iran in 1979.

Every single country that exists today took over the area of another group or people, or split off from a country that did the same.

This is why the Russian belligerent attack on Ukraine started with a lot of staged “we want to secede and join Russia” votes. The UN hates a war but can be fooled into supporting the will “of a people” to secede.
And then that didn’t work. And so Russia needed to activate plan-b as planned.
