    Legit my first thought when I heard about this. I genuinely doubt anything will come out of this and seeing the state of the franchise I’m probably right.

    This guy has almost 0 rep. He directed Dark Phoenix, not the most impressive resume to start off with. This’ll be a budget experience.

      He wrote Last Stand, Apocalypse, and wrote and directed Dark Phoenix.

      OTOH - he also wrote Days of Future Past…

    Alright for real now I’ve really enjoyed some of the newer content they’ve released, but, like, c’mon. They really expect us to get excited over this?

    That’s like expecting us to get excited about a Minecraft spinoff that’s announced immediately following whatever the last spinoff was being shut down.
