    Americans need to start taking responsibility for their own actions or inaction instead of constantly looking for someone else to blame.

    Totally agree. I’m not sure when Americans became so complacent that they’d rather quietly observe than, say, protest.

    Looking back on the Civil Rights movement, for example, Americans did what was necessary and right. Same goes for protesting the Vietnam War. Even as recent as BLM protests. It just seems oddly quiet to me lately.
