I don’t really like the way youtube has turned into a moneymaking cashcow with lots of ads.

There is peertube and odysee
Nebula is probably the one that channels you recognize would recommend
When you want to watch YouTube but without the ads:
- NewPipe on phone
- Invidious on browser (under attack by Google at the moment, have to see how it goes)
And as others mentioned there are some alternatives:
- PeerTube
- Odysee
