For the past few years any time there’s a public shooting, political or not, fascists immediately begin pushing a narrative that the shooter had some connection to the trans community, anarchist or communist politics, to migrant or Black communities. These are always tenuous claims but now with multiple racist lynchings following Kirk’s death, it’s time to recognize the danger of these kinds of mythmakings. They are calls to violence.
Who thinks it’s funny or silly? This is straight up “freedom is slavery”, fascist propaganda orchestrated deliberately or through willful ignorance to demonize the left. Pushed by Russian and Chinese troll farms for further destabilize the US. There’s a reason Trump was left out of the Big Boy’s club meeting a few weeks ago.
It’s totally funny and silly, because their dangerous and deliberate behavior has been on-going since day 1 and humor is a coping mechanism. Don’t believe me? Ask the cancelled late night hosts.

There’s this one in Mississippi but as stated in the article:
a preliminary report released earlier this week by the Bolivar County Coroner’s Office “indicates no evidence of foul play.”
Though I and others are skeptical of that initial report.
I haven’t heard of any other lynchings.
There was a white guy who found hanging a few days ago… Also in Mississippi but something like 100 miles away. I think it might have been before Kirk was shot…
Anyway, the conspiracy minded already lumped the two together without learning the details of either. As is now the custom.
And the coroner confirmed no evidence of assault, so it’s not just the police or school leadership. That makes it more credible to me, but I guess we’ll see.
Isn’t the whole point of a lynching that everyone knows what you did? It’s supposed to be an act of intimidation.

Cory Zukatisas far as i know, there’s no evidence that links those two murders to charlie kirk, but this is america we’re talking about. two Black men, hanged, both in mississippi? that’s not a coincidence. it’s white terrorism.
I was aware of Trey Reed, not aware of Cory Zukatis.
Reed’s death is still being investigated, police statements are very confident that it was not “foul play.” Yes, I want more confirmation than just police statements, but the investigation is ongoing, and I don’t expect them to say anything more publicly any time soon.

According to a report I read, the coroner also confirmed no evidence of assault.
I also know that the family intends to have their own independent autopsy done, and are arranging their own investigation.
I’m fine with reserving judgement until some of that comes out.
Oh absolutely, and we’ll certainly hear about it if there is evidence of foul play. For the time being, the only reason to suspect foul play is that the kid is black and it was public. People commit suicide in public all the time, depression doesn’t care about your skin color, and lynchings are generally meant to send a message (so I’d expect a much more gory killing in that case).
I’m not saying they shouldn’t investigate, I’m saying there’s no reason yet to assume foul play. An investigation should be done regardless to find out why he killed himself (bullying? Depression?) so we can find ways to prevent it next time.

Read the news, I saw an article claiming the coroner found no evidence of assault. It’s possible that all three are covering it up, but the simpler answer is that he killed himself.

It’s so disgusting. The GOP and ring-wingers have such a hard-on for a post-truth world. Look, I get your rage but people do not owe their lives to the cause of good to merely not be seen as a “problem”. They just don’t.
What exactly would they have to do to no longer been seen as your enemy? And why exactly do you think they would decide to change their ways when you decide that is what they are for merely existing and not throwing themselves against the fascists to be gutted? My biggest piece of advice to anyone on the left is get a gun and learn how to shoot. The right is coming for you and no amount of poems, songs, art, or education is going to prevent it. No one is standing up for you. No one is going to save you. The Democrat party has shown this. We have to stand for each other.
If you do decide to get armed learn how to shoot, with like minded people.

Nice choice, I have been wanting a .38 just to have one. I like revolvers just for the aesthetic and they’re fun to shoot. For real, libs need to wake the fuck up about firearms. Guns used to make me uncomfortable until I just finally tried it out and got competent with it. Any healthy minded person should be entirely capable of possessing one responsibly and safely.

Unless you mean that Tyler Robinson was not fascist enough. Maybe if he was not obsessed with the idea of “anti fascism” to the point of being convinced to murder political opponents, he could have been a decent member of society instead of facing a firing squad.
The latest news I have seen are a couple days old but none of them ever stated that he killed him because of any trans rights or anything similar.
I will also not be looking at any social media because I have stopped using those years ago.
The right trying to spin that this is a problem with the left or trans people generally is dangerous. Shooters from the right murdered democratic politicians and made attempts on their own candidates and people. It’s not the left. The entire damn country right, left and center is at a flash point because of the policies that are getting enacted by this government and the relief that isn’t coming and they are using the rhetoric of a trans person, who was only tangentially involved, for calls to persecute all trans people as terrorists or imprison them in mental institutions. Laws are coming into effect so that a trans person posting a fully clothed picture of themselves online could be considered porn. They are creating a class of “non person” who cannot be seen or heard or walk free simply because they are exercising their freedom to exist as they choose to. Wear clothes that they want and find happiness in their own way.
The Government is censoring media, calling for people’s dismissal and vowing direct personal vengeance on private citizens who criticize this influencer. This is what a real collapse of freedom of speech looks like. If you have any claim to care about free speech some trans person with a violent roommate reacting on behalf of their misery in ways they likey didn’t even ask for isn’t your priority.
Yeah. It’s just as fucked up for the left to do it too and it’s weird that people are blind to that fact. The kid is still alive, there’s no reason to speculate about his politics when someone can literally just ask him.
It doesn’t really matter anyway unless he was part of some conspiracy and if that’s the case why go after Kirk and not someone that actually matters?
