In a rare public address, former president said US is experiencing ‘dark days’ and urged Americans to vote
Joe Biden has warned that his presidential successor, Donald Trump, will attempt to “steal” the midterm elections, in a rare public address.
Speaking in South Carolina, where he was being honored for his lifetime achievement in politics, Biden also asserted that the US is experiencing “dark days”, in a speech made hours before the Trump administration launched attacks on Iran.
Reprising a line from the 2020 campaign that saw him defeat Trump and end Trump’s first presidency, Biden told the crowd at the Columbia Museum of Art on Friday that the “battle for the soul of this nation is one that’s never really over”. He simultaneously criticized Trump’s plan to introduce potentially prohibitive voting requirements ahead of the midterms.

Prove it in court and I’ll believe he stole the election.
He was convicted of about 45 felonies after his first term. As in proven in court with a judge and lawyers and everything.
But none of those felons had anything to do with stealing the 2024 election right?
Why does that matter? He’s one of the most prolific criminals in history, and he was caught with boxes of classified material in his home, which is a major crime. People have gotten the death penalty for less.
None of that is to mention that he literally shut down his own election interference case, and now it’s turning out he makes Jeffrey Dahmer look like an amateur hobbyist.
When has proving in a courtroom that Trump did something unlawful ever actually mattered?
Because if it happened there is proof and I’d like to see it.
Why the fuck are you all over this thread running defense for child rapist/murder/eater donald trump?
It’s a sad state of affairs when people think that demanding proof of allegations before acting on them is running defense for people.
It’s literally the bedrock of our justice system.
Do you think Obama could have said that quote from Trump above and still been sworn in the next day?
Obama would never say that quote.
