Someone more talented and experienced than me should host a Fedi contest. It would probably be a fun way to advertise this community, without actually advertising.

Something makes me think it takes a lot of time - not to mention coordinating with other events but a FediQSO party might be something.
I am afraid we’re a distinct minority in the hobby, though.
Absolutely.
I’m very new to HF and anything except 2m / 70cm repeaters so I might be overly optimistic, but it seemed like a cool idea for the community. But I also acknowledge I have no idea the work that goes into organizing such an event.
