Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko said that Belarus poses no military threat to Ukraine and apologized to President Volodymyr Zelensky for previous harsh remarks, according to an interview with Al Arabiya.
The thing with Lukashenko is that no one can trust him.
He has no loyalties except to himself, and no principles besides wanting to remain in power at all costs. Before 2020, he was flip flopping between Russia and Europe on a monthly basis and that only changed because most European countries had enough after the 2020 elections.
These statements will only remain true if Putin doesn’t find the right leverage to change his calculations.
