  • I’m glad 8bitdo exists, at least they don’t have stick drift lol.

I’m actually kind of sad so many people deleted their reddit comments because I would have never fixed my ultimate C controller without a comment. I had no idea they had “hall effect” sensors or whatever so I thought I had stick drift until I found a reddit comment mentioning that you can’t have that and to just use rubbing alcohol to fix it, which it did!

  • Exactly.

I’m all for Kamala, I absolutely don’t want another Trump admin or even Republican admin of any sort, but there’s a whole lot of copium and hope huffing going on right now. She did ok, but he definitely didn’t get mad and didn’t go too far off the rails… The most absurd thing he said was about people eating pets, the rest was typical Trump stuff. I listened to it, not physically “watched” so I didn’t see if his facial expressions betrayed him, but he didn’t sound mad at all.

  • I’ve already said this twice today since I was so bummed out about it in the debate, but Kamala was handed a PERFECT opportunity to discuss corruption in the courts and she completely missed it for what it was… I don’t even think she realizes what she could have said.

When Trump went on about all his court wins it was because of corrupt judges picked by the heritage foundation. She could have at least called out Cannon for being Trumps lapdog and could have roped Thomas into it by mentioning his somewhat “random” comment in an unrelated case that was specifically meant to signal to Cannon how she should continue with Trump’s case…

The elections are about more than just the two douchebags we have to choose from, it’s about the entirety of government. :(

  • But I don’t mean idiot, I meant what I said. If anything ignorant would be more concise and keep my meaning. If for some reason you don’t pay attention to politics but still find yourself watching the debate Trump seemed to have a lot of responses to criticism and “answers” to problems even if they were all lies.

The end was absolutely infuriating, of course Trump gets the last word… “Why haven’t you done any of what you said you want to do already?”

… because we have a fucking Republican Congress! Again any ignorant person wouldn’t recognize that and would accept what he said as truth. It makes sense in a way, if you’re in power now then why aren’t you doing something? That one is not Kamalas fault though, that’s ABC always letting Trump have the last word… :/

  • But it could make a difference to that sliver of the electorate who has not paid attention until now,

This is exactly what has me irritated with her performance though. If these people weren’t paying attention then they won’t know what Trump was saying are all lies. He seemed more “knowledgeable” to someone who doesn’t know hes lying. She just kept trying to hit talking points instead of refuting his bullshit, or even explaining it for the most part.

I mentioned in another thread that she could have used the opportunity he presented to show how dangerous the heritage foundation is. His comments on all his cases being dismissed are because of corrupt judges (Cannon) which get chosen during Republican administrations, but instead she jumped on more talking points and completely ignored it… I can’t imagine what it must be like to be up there so I’m sure it hard to think on your feet in that position, but I just felt annoyed that I seemed to know more about the day to day political bullshit that has happened than her. I’m sure she knows it all, but she never showed that.

She did ok, but it definitely wasn’t the slam dunk a lot of people are making it out to be. :/

  • Thank you!

I thought I was crazy looking at all these posts… You have to watch this as someone who knows next to nothing about politics. In that frame, Trump seemed wayyyyy stronger than Harris. I was actually really disappointed at so many opportunities she passed up to lay down facts in favor of jumping on talking points… Trump kept spitting out “data” (lies, but the people who don’t pay much attention don’t know that) and so he appeared more knowledgeable than her, she just kept trying to attack him instead of actually responding to things… Hell, why did we keep the tarrifs? Why not just answer that for us?

One bit that drove me up the wall was when he went on about all the court cases that he “won” and had dismissed… For fucks sake Kamala that’s the perfect opportunity to discuss the heritage foundation and the corruption of the courts! Goddamn “judge” Cannon was the piece of shit doing Trump’s bidding and tossing these cases… That’s a perfect example to provide to the people as to why court reform is important and she could have created a distinction between them, but no she goes back to a talking point that I can’t even remember what it was…
