You want your favorite streaming service on there? Get an older (used office) PC, load it up with (your prefered flavor of) Linux, get a bluetooth keyboard mouse combo, hook it up to your HDMI port, and go ham.

Some TVs even let you turn them on directly to a specific HDMI port for a bonus fun time of never having to see the TVs menu.

It’s hard to get people in a room together but at least getting them into a group chat is easier, and usually once you can get past that barrier for awhile get the IRL barrier cleared can be easier.

Casual multiplayer games are really seeing a resurgence lately and I couldn’t be happier!

Not to mention Hexbear literally has a community dedicated to organizing brigades on what they see as problematic posts and comments

Hexbear is hella bad to the point where I won’t join an instance if they’re federated with them (why I’m not using a programming.dev account right now)
