Donald Trump’s response if asked:
"I’ve never met J.D. Vance. I don’t know who he is. People tell me he’s a fan, but I’ve never met him.
Whenever anyone talks about how high interest rates are now, I remember when my wife and I bought our house in 1997. We were pre-approved for a 30-year fixed rate mortgage at 7.5%, and we were told to take it.
What we were actually told was, "you’ll never see a rate this low again.

If you want to avoid appearing to be a Nazi apologist, you should at a minimum drop some examples of the shocking things you learned.
Yeah, that’s what I meant. Ask the women in your life for advice.
What do your woman friends say?

Because Trump’s been an idiot all along. With Biden there was a decline, so they could claim he was no longer competent. Trump was never competent, so any decline doesn’t really matter much.
This happened to someone I worked with years ago. Not in a cubicle, but in a locked basement office. I was his supervisor.
He died in the office on a Friday evening. He had taken off work the following Monday and Tuesday because he was going to do some work on his house.
His brother was supposed to meet him on the Saturday, but he never showed up. By Wednesday, the police were involved, and they called me to ask me to see if he was in the office.
I worked in a different building a few blocks away, so I headed over.
I didn’t have a key to get in his office, but there happened to be a ladder, so I climbed up and popped out the ceiling tiles to look over the wall.
He was a strange, troubled guy but very kind.
Neither did my grandparents. Likewise, my parents didn’t update their will when my children and nieces were born.
The attitude among all generations has been: your own kids inherit, and they distribute to their kids as they see fit.
I wasn’t in my grandparents wills, but I ended up with some of their furniture.
The “screaming” is their version of flirting. They’ve been buried a long time, and they don’t have much time to get their groove on.

the US doesn’t give their citizens the same rights as those in other countries receive.
The U.S. doesn’t give their citizens the same rights that the U.S. constitution has.
When people ask me why I like Linux, my go-to reason is my main personal machine. I use it for everything I do outside of work, including running my Emby server.
I built it from $500 worth of parts 13 years ago. I’ve kept updating the os and applications. It’s starting to slow down a bit after the last os upgrade, but it’s still plenty usable.
I am getting concerned about the spinning platters. As far as I am aware, Linux won’t prevent an ancient hard disk drive from reaching the natural end of is life.
It’s probably time to move on to a new machine. Well, new motherboard, CPU, RAM, and disks at least.
I didn’t have the option to have my bank send it in, but I printed a check for each kid each month to cover school lunch costs. I don’t know what it cost them to process the checks, but it wasn’t all that inconvenient for me to do. If there had been a no-cost way to load funds online I would have done it, but it wouldn’t have been much more convenient for me. I’m not going to pay extra to make it easier for them.
