Not that it matters too much to the point they are trying to make, but they didn’t highlight the entire orca area either. So an over representation for the parking lot and under for the actual exhibit surface area.
Yes, a lot of the time it is, depending on land acquisition cost. Plus you then have some amount of additional ongoing maintenance cost for the structure which is also more than just that of a surface lot.

18·8 months agoOften animals in captivity become unfit to survive on their own if released into the wild. This may be one of those cases. If it is then you would effectively be euthanizing 40 animals.

8·9 months agoAt this point, what is the point of the EPA. I realize the goal was to cripple the EPA so much that common people ask that exact question. Hopefully, something can be done to reverse course so you know, rivers don’t catch on fire again due to pollution.
