24.7 degrees? What sort of stupid temperature is that for 4am? Someone clearly forgot to turn down the thermostat overnight.

It’s stupidly windy and random things keep creaking and banging. Mr Woof was a bit alarmed by a plant pot that was walking itself down the street.

Second batch of soap (the one I messed up and had to re-cook) is now out of the moulds and looking good. Now I just have to wait a couple of months for drying.

I think it is supposed to be pikelets, so that’s really on me. I presume picklets are some sort of pickle pikelet hybrid. Maybe a version of okinomyaki, which would be pretty awesome. Just not with cream and maple syrup 🤣

In an exciting start to the morning I have done some more updates to my budget spreadsheet. I have now mastered the use of TRUNC, ROUNDUP and EVEN functions. Hopefully my pay calculations will now match my actual payslips without rounding errors.

I actually knew one answer, the rest were all complete guesses.

I got some cans of cat food from the food cupboard this arvo - diet chicken mousse that someone else’s cat presumably didn’t like. Miss Meow seems enthusiastic about it so that’s definitely a win.

Ooh, perfect timing. Can I have a giant heaped platter full of all the fried foods you have, with pavlova on the side please.

That’s the standard way they are doing it - steal car, fill with flamabble stuff, drive it through the front of the shop and set it on fire.

i am currently eating overnight oats with apple, peach, strawberry and cherry in it. I also have watermelon cut up for a snack later 🍎🍑🍓🍒🍉🍉 🙂

It’s FriYAY the 1st of YESvember!

Mr Woof must have wondered what was going on in the neighbourhood today. Our evening walk took us past all sorts of characters - a witch, a walking skeleton, the grim reaper and a walking pumpkin!

Ghost sperm. Which makes sense really, there must be an awful lot that died leaving without fulfilling their purpose.

Pakige has been delivered. Along with photographic proof that I really need to sweep the front entry 🤣

I think that was the presenter’s attempt to copy it, I caught a glimpse of the prepared one and it looked much better. A good indication that their “easy” halloween treats might not be that easy after all though.

Meal prep for the next couple of days is done. Now I can start on dinner!

At least dinner is a kit so won’t take too much effort. I also made a few extra serves of oats and some burgers for the freezer so I have a head start on a few more future meals too.

My idea of pleasant starts at 18, warm at 23, hot at 26 and OMG I’m going to die of heat exhaustion starts at about 28.

That looks very doable, I might just give it a try.
