and they sure have their navy on lockdown, no problems with ships randomly setting on fire or anything like that.
but she’s done this like 3 times already.
The Winter Candidate.
or, the ultra wealthy will take even more of it.
Sure, in the long run humanity will adapt and survive, but we will definitely have problems to address in the near-ish term like the next 100 years or so. the main problem will be an inverted age structure; there will be fewer people paying taxes, and fewer people around to take care of the older generations when they are elderly. Many developed nations are experiencing this and worried about it.
and ‘sex’ isn’t the issue; with modern education, contraception, etc you have to convince families to want to have kids. It doesn’t seem to be any one particular thing holding people back either, so it’s not as simple as subsidizing childcare or making families more financially secure. Countries in europe give lots of financial assistance to raise kids, but their birth rates are still much lower than replacement levels.
I kinda feel like the remaster makes the animation look worse, or just highlights how primitive it was. Maybe the lower resolution etc of the original subconsciously lowers my expectations.
that’s not accurate. Title 42 was ended at the same time they ended the covid-19 emergency in May 2023.

if you think they’re misusing the term, just get to your point and explain why. asking people tedious questions multiple comments in a row just comes off as sea-lioning.
seems a bit unnecessary, is there not enough time to do that at school? not like you need to dedicate class time to lectures on coloring.
might as well release it and see what happens.
“Simply, this case presents serious, difficult and new legal issues.”
No, the ban last year is the case that presented “serious, difficult and new legal issues”. This ruling is just restoring things to the way they were for decades.
i don’t think it’s “for” anyone in particular. this is just who he is.
where do you live? homework at age 4?
exactly, it would be a catastrophe. so many industries would grind to a halt without their trained laborers, and even if you did somehow manage to backfill all those with documented workers (yeah right), the cost to do so would be insane for less skilled, less efficient workers. the inflation would make post-covid look insignificant by comparison.
I don’t think this has anything to do with covid. Trump’s entire 2016 campaign was about building a border wall, and Fox cranks up the border talk leading up to every single election cycle.
not to mention, as if any Americans actually want to do the jobs that undocumented immigrants are doing for us.
Deporting illegal immigrants who commit violent crimes, for example, would fall under that.
The actual phrasing in the poll was, “The mass deportation of undocumented immigrants”. I kind of doubt most people would think targeted deportation like for criminals would count as “mass deportation of undocumented immigrants”.
200m is bad enough
