Yes, I watched the extended versions many times.
I like science, politics and music.

I feel like it’s mostly shitposting but soon enough there will be a more formal competition. Possibly with a standardized VM and local package cache.
With enough funding, I will finish my research on the Hilbert space of genders where every particle in every possible reality has a one-to-one correspondence to a gender. I call it the “Everettian gender hypercontinuum”.
She’s creating the opportunity to take it to SCOTUS where they will make the appointment of any future Special Counsel illegal. The intent is not to be consistent and it doesn’t have to make sense. Hell, it’s even better if it doesn’t make sense because this erodes the judiciary’s legitimacy; two birds, one stone.
Americans are in very very deep trouble but they don’t seem to care. The worst part is that the rest of the world will be dragged down with them.
WTF. Is the abstract concept of “competition” more important than weaning out of fossil fuels in order to keep Earth habitable for humans?
I find this mindset doubly crazy because the USA grants a ton of subsidies to oil companies.
China’s government is horrible for a myriad reasons but this instance of concern trolling is just blatant pro-oil and pro-capital propaganda. The USA is antagonizing China for the wrong reasons and from the outside, their alleged motivations look stupid and petty.
It’s immensely disheartening to see the supposed “leader of the free world” acting in such a dumb way in the face of an impending catastrophe.
The point is that the footage we see is part of the in-universe propaganda, so we have no reason to assume it’s true.
Once again proving that even fictional propaganda is highly effective.
Yeah, I feel like oop reached the wrong conclusion after this. Apple treats its consumers as if they were mindless children and they (for some reason) love it. Just look at the whole “green texts” issue, for example.
Some manufacturers found a smart workaround but the apple brainrot is stronger, I guess.
Germany didn’t disconnect the genocide battery, they just changed the polarity.
First thing that comes to mind is
Next step is starting to appear in right wing spaces to say you were “canceled” by the left to start the next phase of the grift.
Everyone celebrating this ghoul’s death, is this what leftist unity feels like?

I think the main pro of this system would be that it requires no trust. The immutability would be actually a con for privacy: if you’re burned or doxxed later, there would be hard evidence of your identity in the blockchain.
Besides, solar photocells have a limited lifetime. Recycling them is possible but expensive so people just make new ones instead. Kind of like plastics if you think about it.
Profoundly internalized hierarchy all over this thread.
What? 7 million people died from COVID-19. How many more would it have been without all the safety measures?
My opinion is that what matters is how much money each part of the network receives.
For example, instances tend to be transparent about their funding. And we can see that some of them are just months away of being out of cash. Meanwhile, we see people subscribing(!) to a very expensive app that charges $20 to remove ads (and tracking and data collecting) otherwise.
I think is okay to keep people aware of these things. Getting defensive about it is just a waste of energy. For both sides.
I just don’t understand why Biden hasn’t stopped the transfer of military equipment. Everyone, even the coldest psychopath, has a cost-benefit analysis to guide their decisions. I can’t see any political, geopolitical or whatever benefit the USA may be getting from this. There must be something else going on that is not public.
