Damn, thats a really low quality copper sponsor
Unironically 2026 is gonna be my year, specifically the year my city gets a socialist mayor, public transportation becomes free, I start taking HRT, and I start Uni :3
Im not saying they should be 100% accurate and everything needs to be done professionally, im just saying professionals from the feild should at least be consulted
What pisses me of is when major studios make an entire show about a specific profession but cant be bothered to consult anyone from said profession

4·4 days agoAnd who on earth is giving these awards? Some shitty slop “gaming journalist”? Because its certainly not any reapected reviewers. Personally when I think of award winning indie studios I think Team Cherry, Devolver Digital, Studio MDHR, Galactic Cafe, or Motion Twin.

17·4 days agoIm not familiar with their work but they sound like a slop developer who tried to publish a game with messed up content and is now whining about not being able to sell it
(Edit: I looked into them, they are absolutely not an award winning indie studio and def not one of the best, they’re a slop factory and they make asset flip low quality horror games)

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Why do you personally believe in your religion?
1·5 days agoMy religion is fundamentally based on the idea of gay catgirl supremacy and worship. Service to the catgirls may come in the form of headpats and sacrifices are accepted in the form of baked juicy chicken :3
Isnt this guy in Mario 64?
This entire thread is filled with reactionaries
You could literally read the GraphineOS documentation whenever you want where it clearly outlines how their hardening works, what security systems they have in place, and how their encryption works. I will warn you its incredibly technical, of course you wouldn’t know that because people like you who cant bother to even look at the website (https://www.grapheneos.org/features) wouldn’t know what any of it acturally means.
Tldr: for people who dont understand technical terminology they can trust the project, for people who do they can literally just read the documentation
Yeah the most secure android operating system vs a bunch of custom roms which are significantly less secure than stock due to less updates, being less hardened, and using insecure components (like reverse engineered gapps)

Quite frankly Linux mint and Cinnamon by extension is X11 software and I dont expect the transition to be completed anytime in the foreseeable future let alone acturally start for users. Even with their incredibly slow adoption of Wayland im shocked they’re going this fast, I thought they would wait another several years. Linux Mint is stable software and they’re significantly less willing to make any changes than even Debian.
(Btw its just testing atm, nothing exists for users yet)
