OGC?
I thought we settled that it’s not a good acronym…

Fossify Launcher works well, that’s what I switched to.
Lack of exposure would be my guess. People can pick up languages with adult brains too. English is my third language, but I use it every day to a degree that I find it hard not to think in english. Learned german for ten years, but as soon as I stopped using it english overtook it. Now I struggle to string a proper sentence together.

Are they supported longer on the windows driver?

According to the Steam HW survey around 6% of users are still using Pascal (10xx) GPUs. That’s about 8.4 million GPUs losing proprietary driver support. What a waste.
GPU %
1060 1.86
1050ti 1.43
1070 0.78
1050 0.67
1080 0.5
1080ti 0.38
1070ti 0.24
Fixed: 1050 was noted as 1050ti

RAM is the last component you should OC, it is arkane wizardry compared to CPU and GPU overclocking. Even a seemingly stable memory OC can crash at different workloads and when it does it gives seemingly unrelated errors that sends you down in endless rabbit holes.

I would love to have requirements. (No, vague teams messages still don’t count!)
Oh, look at Mr Many Environments here, he’s too good to test on prod like the rest of us do.
I was about to comment “one of those isn’t”, then realized I was think of cinnamon for some reason.

I put a rubber cap thingy on mine. This should be the least invasive fix.
I heard they plan to import refined products to ease shortage. That’s wild!

A drunk text or a butt dial!

Stochastic parrots always bullshit. It can’t lie as it has no concept or care for truth and falsity, but spitting back noise that’s statistically shaped like a signal.
In practice, I noticed the answer is more likely wrong the more specific the question. General questions that have the answer widely available in the training data will more often be there correctly in the LLMs result.

I wonder what CPU performance you would need so that it is compiling all the time given: average package release rate and average compile time of the most commonly installed ones.
People can only make stupid mistakes so many times. Once exited the gene pool, that’s it. Meanwhile an AI can spew statistical nonsense 24/7 without repercussion.
I trust an intelligence way more that managed to keep iteself alive, than one that is optimized to generate signal shaped noise.
