start searching the platform for things you’re interested in and follow people with interesting related posts. after a while you’ve got an actual personal feed
ive been off facebook for quite a while now but when i was still on it, id unfollowed just about any real-life bullshit and was exclusively engaging in private groups featured around special interests. i ended up doing the same with reddit & a private sub before leaving, i enjoy recognizing usernames.
all this to say: agreed
yes please i really want even more of my already-overpopulated living space consumed by redundant concrete and metal, sounds great!
female UK for me iirc
I’m actually excited by the idea of smaller communities. After a certain threshold a popular sub becomes more difficult to interact with for me, and I’ve been finding refuge in smaller subs for quite a while now.
So far just about everything here has that feel to it
i haven’t had a microwave since i moved out of my parent’s place. figured id eventually get one when i felt like i needed it, but that still hasn’t happened 5+yrs later
