@kingmongoose7877 Perfect! Thanks for letting me know.
i prefer using mastodon on public devices tbh idk if public network infrastructures would wig out if they saw all the instance i connect to lol
@kingmongoose7877 Perfect! Thanks for letting me know.
@kingmongoose7877 I’ll do a lil bit of testing from narwhal.city today, it runs #Lotide which I’ve found to be fairly stable for the most part. Please tell me if the issue pops back up when I post from there again
@kingmongoose7877 @Blaze @realcaseyrollins@kbin.projectsegfau.lt @realcaseyrollins@narwhal.city @realcaseyrollins@lemmy.ml @realcaseyrollins@social.teci.world @arya Whoa I had no idea this was an issue, thanks for letting me know! I’ll refrain from posting in the community until this issue is resolved, please let me know once it’s fixed.
@Pacifist @TheAnonymouseJoker #Lemmy in general, and lemmy.ml in particular, is known for white-knighting for dictators tho, so this isn’t all too unexpected tbh
Although I guess in most cases they wait for the dictator to die first so that people forget how bad he was
@CalcProgrammer1 @diemunkiesdie That sounds dope! What’s it called?
@nlm @Barbarian Yes, me and @sj_zero have been having lots of trouble getting #Kbin to federate properly
@liaizon @technology That’s pretty dope. I’ll have to test that on my end!
@liaizon @technology I didn’t know it was possible to post to #Lemmy communities from the #Fediverse, that’s awesome!
@TheOneCurly I’ve been noticing massive #Kbin federation issues, even from the small instance that I’m on, kbin.projectsegfau.lt
@dirtmayor Now that’s just stupid. And I generally like the guy.
@legion @TendieMaster69 Are you onboarding using the browser or using the official #Mastodon app? Onboarding online is a lot more understandable than onboarding in the app IIRC
@RandomBit @jmcs I prefer #Matrix.
I don’t find #Signal or #Telegram (which is worse, it’s basically a honeypot) to be particularly secure, but I don’t see anything other than something like those platforms catching on with the masses as a sort of #USA-centric #Whatsapp-style replacement for text messaging.
Both #Apple and #Google need to come up with a consensus on the successor for #MMS, or else I could see another platform or app replacing both.
@OneRedFox @amki Yep. There’s #Kbin and #Lotide.
@JoYo I’m not seeing anything in the article linking #eChirp to the #Fediverse
@American_Communist22 @yogthos he can’t hold a candle to Hitler IMHO
@CeruleanRuin Thanks!
I tested making a post from @realcaseyrollins@narwhal.city, and got confirmation that the issue is resolved, so I’m back to posting on the community now (although work will probably busy today so I won’t be posting as much).
