Patientgamers FTW!
Patientgamers FTW!
So, as someone who got hyped because he is the man behind Black & White and Fable. What am I missing?
That’s understandable. Everyone has their own preferences, and there is nothing wrong with that.
They are remastering all the old ones, so I am hopeful for a new entry,
If you enjoy a game, but later find out that the game had some internal check where it auto-adjusted difficulty, will you stop liking it?
Again, not all games should have it. And not every dev implement it properly, that doesn’t mean a feature is inherently bad. There are places where it should be used, and where it should be used.
Well, not everyone plays games to get better. If I can enjoy the game, then what does it matter if games lets me think I am better than I actually am?
It’s your right to like or dislike any features. Just as it’s our right to like or dislike any features. There is no objectively good or bad in it.
Haven’t watched the video, but it depends on the game. For some games, these are very valid choices.
How are you liking Fallout 76?
Cool, thanks for the info!
Is there a story in Warframe that I can finish in few dozens hours at most? Or do I need to spend 100s of hours to get a good grasp of what’s happening.
Ah. Yeah, I agree that it doesn’t make too much sense, grammatically. But not everyone here has English as their first language, so just clarified.
As for the title. It’s same as YouTube video title, OP just copied it exactly as is.
It means that it’s a cinematic trailer, but it’s also not actual gameplay. They took what they have implemented in the game, and made the trailer from that.
Unreal means that they are using Unreal Engine.
I think we should just forget the game exists. One day they will announce it, but until them, let’s just assume there is no Silksong, and Team Cherry is just taking a long long vacation.
Voice communications are pretty simple on console too. I prefer to turn it off even if games have it, unless I am playing with an actual friend, so that default is fine by me. And when actually using it, it’s pretty easy, takes just a few button clicks. PS5 even got discord integration recently, but all my multiplayer friends are on PS, so didn’t had a need to test that. Though I don’t play on PC so I am not sure if discord on PC is even easier.
As for creativity, indies are leading in that department (and Nintendo has been pretty good too!). There are some great games out there, but unfortunately for AAA when you spend millions of dollars on a game over 4-5 years, it becomes a big risk, specially in today’s environment where even a successful game doesn’t ensure you won’t be layed off, an unsuccessful game is just a suicide.
But in general, yeah, kinda disappointed by the current gen. Eagerly waiting for Switch 2 though.
Looks interesting, I am not a fan of characters style though. Similar to Prison Architect etc. but I have never been able to like it.
That’s pretty interesting. Glad to see him trying to pursue his goals, and hope the game succeeds.
So, basically: Don’t tell your friends! Unless you know them for a long time and they have a proven track record of keeping their mouth shut.
Trails series is finishing!?
I agree with you, handheld can never compete with a desktop when it comes to raw power. So, if companies don’t consider it as a platform to target for, you’ll always have problem with latest games. Maybe not at launch, but you can’t upgrade a handheld “console” every year or two.
That’s the good thing about consoles, you buy it, and you know (most of) the games that come to the platform will just run on it.
I don’t have a SteamDeck so not sure how it works, but maybe they should make a sub-store for SteamDeck, that only has games that are verified to run on it. They can still have an option to search and download game from full steam store, but it should come as a warning that these games aren’t specifically made / optimized for Deck.
Just thinking out loud. Don’t actually know what SteamDeck owners really want. :-)
