Which is ridiculous! As an oldest child, I know that my little brother didn’t have any needs like my little sister or I did. Every few weeks, there’d be a door slam or a yelled, “WHY DOESN’T ANYONE PAY ATTENTION TO ME!?”, which let us know he was still alive and obviously thriving if he had enough energy to make so much noise.
Middle children are stereotyped as overlooked. (And desperate for attention but not getting any.)
