McDonald’s gives more benefits than the average entry level job here (and sometimes even slightly higher pay per hour) where people actually fight to get in and who gets in will not let go.
Also, they are forced to adhere to strict food quality rules so everything must be done by other certified bodies.
But of course low/no competition on jobs and less regulations are gonna be exploited by companies that size, and I am sure they wish they could cut costs here too.

To me none of that offsets the use of slave labor and their political presense. But I don’t think everyone should boycott. Everyone’s situation is different. Maybe you need McDonald’s.
If ya want to look into the goals of the restraunt industry I’d look into the NRA (National Restraunt Association). McDonald’s is obviously a member.
