Havent you heard, stealing the worlds gold during the Bretton Wood system and then forcing countries to adopt USD so that they can export their inflation makes them the good guys.

That would be for North America,
but I disagree considering where the name America likely came from,
not Albericus Vespucci, but from a Mayan mountainous region named Amerrisque,
“land where the wind blows constantly” and perhaps combined with the Spanish word “rica/rich”,
because those mountains were rich with gold at that time.

And I think that name is more fitting than ‘Turtle Island’ to be honest.
North America has a lot of hurricanes and tornadoes.
      And it’s rich with resources.

South America needs a rename though.

It is perhaps descriptive, but America is a name that comes from colonizers. We should honor indigenous peoples by using their name for the continent.

Regarding south america, I wouldnt know what to call it.

                Ah, my bad.

I dont know what mayans would think about that. What do you think they would think about that?

No idea. I just want to note that the most widespread indigenous languages still in use in North America are Nahuatl and Mayan laguages so if indigneous people were to vote on it they would probably have a lot to say about it.

If you’re looking for the word “rape”, rape doesn’t mean to necessarily impregnate, but to just penetrate.

You can rape someone without any intention or action of trying to impregnate.

I’m sure the EU will impose sanctions on the US for the actions of this administration, like they did with Russia. They wouldn’t want to appear hypocritical, after all.

I never why we suppose to feel bad about our state in order to oppose to it. Shame do not lead to long term action; feeling bat about a state we do not run imply identify to it. This is an issue, we have to distinguish ourselves (as a collective) from the state.

Yes! We should feel bad! Unfortunately, there are people who think what that asshat does is awesome. My mother, who I won’t speak to because two of the ladies in her sons’ lives are now at risk. Fuck these people. They are selfish and frightened and they externalize their fear.

Don’t twist it. My point was that there’s people who actively dislike this regime and are doing something about it. It’s too counter the idea that all Americans are for this regime. Your approval of how some people’s tactics is irrelevant, it’s still showing that the people aren’t a monolith.

They are feeling pretty down from all the hate recently. They could use more kids to cheer them up.
