Exactly! Ugh, if these miserable, global extremist, sacks of dog shit hate freedom so much, why won’t they all just go build a man made floating island somewhere in the middle of the ocean and leave the rest of the world alone, instead of dragging us all into a fucking holy war just to force us to be miserable too?

      Answer:

      A. They aren’t actually capable of creating/building anything on their own, and are completely reliant on exploiting others because they’re a bunch of talentless cocksuckers.

      B. They thrive on the attention/theatrics of it all and need a captive audience.

      C. Even if they suddenly woke up to a world where every need was met and everyone was exactly like them, they would be even more miserable nobody was paying attention to them, and still find excuses to go to war with each other.

      D. All of the above (it’s this)

No wonder MAGAs are obsessed with Cucks, their wives are desperate to feel something other than pain.

So she’s actually as repugnant as he is, and her views are just as bad. I can’t remember her name and I can’t be bothered to look it up because fuck her, but she’s a minor influencer in the Conservative sphere. She goes on the streets and does those stupid shock value “interviews” with strangers.

For anyone curious, this is from a series that a Lefty political commentator, Luke Beasley, did, where he and her sat together and tried to have measured discussions about their views. It was interesting, but it only went on for about 6 episodes, and it was rocky the entire way.

Its all up on YouTube. And I watched. And despite her showing the smallest glimmer of understanding occasionally, she ultimately could not be convinced to change her views. It didnt help that her vile ass husband was behind the camera the entire time.

Lastly, her husband didnt overtly say the above quote verbatim, but it was definitely heavily implied. This wasn’t putting words in his mouth, its a legit view he has.

Dennis Prager has like an hour long video where he removed about the differences between “men and women” and openly admits that he’s a) never been found attractive, 2) doesn’t really have pleasurable sex, and c, had a kinda creepy relationship with his dad.

It’s wild to me how different some people’s lives go. I suspect him and I would find each other’s lives equally unimaginable to see ourselves in.

And yeah I’ve always suspected a lot of the anti sex conservatives are on the ace spectrum or have some sexual trauma that manifests by suppression of desire, and completely lack the self awareness to not force their lack of desire onto others. Especially amongst asexual conservative men, who feel that not wanting women is emasculating and so they moralize and project. They make sex entirely about power or reproduction. It’s easier than getting themselves and their peers to decouple masculinity from heterosexuality.

Probably: He was breast fed until he was 5 or 6. His mom burned him and said the devil is in him when he looks at other girls or touched his “devils thorn”. He feels shame when he is hiding with his wifes socks and transporn keeps popping up and making him just a little more excited.

You’re all talking about this as if he’s gay, but he clearly says his wife is the one having orgasms during gay sex.

It is gay to make your wife’s pussy wet?

She has to be in pain otherwise you’re a fag that has feelings.

    Insanity.

It’s really sad to see what Donald has done to people’s brains. Enjoying good sex with one’s wife is now checks notes gay, and raping children on an island is checks notes Ephebophilia.

It’s really sad to see what Donald has done to people’s brains.

This isn’t Trump. This is standard conservative brainworms going back to the Limbaugh Era and before. Just textbook Protestant-flavored Homophobic Misogyny. Dig through James Dobson’s prodigious backlog of public brainfarts or poke around in the Joe Pyne archives, you’ll find similar sentiments and commentary.

Enjoying good sex with one’s wife is now checks notes gay

Anything that gives a person undeserved pleasure is sinful. And the Protestant Work Ethic teaches us that only productive economy-stimulating labor is a worthwhile pursuit. Sex is a job, not a hobby. You do it to make the babies, not to experience any kind of corporeal pleasure.

raping children on an island is checks notes Ephebophilia

That falls under the “Very Rich Guy’s Addendum” to the Protestant Work Ethic. If you’re rich, it proves you worked harder than everyone else and none of the working class rules apply.

There have been a number of religious secs that believed pleasure during sex was sinful. The Shakers forbade sex altogether, thus, no more Shakers. Others accepted that sex was necessary but tried to come up with methods to remove or decrease the pleasure. A blanket strung down the middle of the bed with a hole in it.

Ever heard of Mormons “soaking?” LOL:

“According to Men’s Health, soaking is when a man puts his penis inside of a female partner’s vagina. They then lay in the bed and have someone else shake the bed to cause movement”

They think of it as a loophole to get around the whole “no sex before marriage” thing.

I learned about the Shakers and Quakers back in elementary school but can’t remember much about them. I didn’t know they were celibate. So I looked into it and there are only 3 left in the U.S.

A new person has joined the last active Shaker community in the U.S, bringing the Christian, communal, and celibate group to a total of three. They once numbered in the thousands.

Interesting. Thank for showing me a rabbit hole to dive down.

I picked up a fascinating book about Shaker furniture and architecture at a thrift store a while ago. Their religious ideals led to some extremely functional designs of furniture and structures that honestly can still be useful today. For example, Shaker chairs are designed with extra tall backs to be able to be hung up on the wall to make it easy to sweep underneath them when cleaning

I’ve seen a theory that the shakers were specifically founded by a handful of aromantic/asexual folks and basically built a community for aro/ace folk before any acknowledgement of these concepts existed. Given their views on equality and functionality it does not take much of a leap of the imagination to see how such a community could form from a bunch of autistic aro/ace folks in a period when any of those characteristics would make it difficult to survive

I hate to play the devil’s advocate here, especially since I believe all MAGAs are douchebags, but Luke Moody’s stupid statement could also be interpreted a different way, like maybe he meant that he impregnates his wife every time he gives her an orgasm. So, like, once a year, tops.

Fun idea, but in reality while there was some descrepency, more than 50 percent of white women in the US are MAGAts.

I think the descrepency is bigger when you look at younger people, though its actually starting to reverse somewhat.

Yeah, was gonna say - this guy is another one of the “always, in every context, thinking about gay sex” closeted Republicans. Religion does this to them, the systematic and merciless repression of sexuality causes it to become an immense burden.

Not just for the ones in the closet either. Hetero people are told their entire lives that sex is bad and internalize that their desires are evil, then they get married and you expect them to suddenly have a healthy sexual relationship?

As an econometrician / data wonk, I’m pretty sure we are past ‘plausible’, more like well into ‘you could do a legitimate scientific paper on this and essentially prove it, and now we’re arguing over error bounds and precise methodology’.
